Growing up as an Army brat in a Pentecostal household, my connection with the church has been a constant presence in my life. My first pastor, Jesse Williams, from Fayetteville, North Carolina, played a significant role in shaping my spiritual beliefs. After completing high school, I followed in my father’s footsteps and joined the Army, serving for 4 1/2 years with my last duty station at Fort Bragg.
Upon leaving the military, I moved to California and worked as a dental repair technician. However, I soon realized that the California culture wasn’t the right fit for me, so I moved to Florida. Living in the tourist town of Panama City, I struggled to find the right job and eventually decided to become a truck driver. Over the next 2 1/2 years, driving across the country provided me with ample time to reflect on my life, the choices I had made, and the things I could have done differently.
One fateful morning, I found myself reminiscing about my childhood and my spiritual connection with God. I realized how much I missed that connection, and in that moment, I felt God’s reassuring presence, telling me, “I’ve been here the whole time.” This profound realization of God’s unwavering love and support, even during my darkest moments, was a turning point in my life.
Determined to rebuild my relationship with God, I moved to the town where my grandparents lived, found a job in sales, and began attending their church. As I got more involved in the church, I took on a leadership role as the singles leader and worked to coordinate events that would connect other local singles who shared the same Apostolic faith. This experience inspired me to launch Apostolic Singles Network in 2004, helping hundreds of couples meet online and build successful marriages.
In 2008, I founded Everyone’s Apostolic, which rapidly became a viral success. The unexpected growth of this platform taught me valuable lessons about the importance of sustainable business models, as the initial downturn in 2009 demonstrated the challenges of maintaining growth without proper funding. This experience sparked my interest in online marketing, particularly for church growth, and set me on a new path.
Determined to learn more about the world of digital marketing, I connected with Digital Marketer and immersed myself in their online education. Over the next several years, I studied and implemented their strategies, eventually becoming one of their very first certified partners. As I honed my marketing skills, I prayed for guidance on how best to use my newfound knowledge and abilities.
The answer came in the form of a calling to help ministries grow, and I founded Apostolic Marketing with this mission in mind. Now, as a part of Apostolic Marketing, I am committed to guiding ministries through the online marketing space, enabling them to compete effectively in the ever-changing digital landscape. I believe that by using my skills in sales, finance, and digital marketing, I can help churches expand their reach, strengthen their congregations, and continue to transform lives, just as my own life was transformed through my rekindled relationship with God.
My journey thus far has shown me the power of faith, love, and perseverance. As I look to the future, I am determined to continue developing innovative marketing strategies that contribute to the growth and development of churches worldwide. With Apostolic Marketing, I am excited to help others experience the same transformative power of God’s love that I have been blessed to know.
